Vaughn Shapen is currently the assistant coach at Archbishop McCarthy High School. He has previously coached at Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana. As a player, Vaughn was named to the Louisiana All State team in two different seasons while attending Loyola College Prep High School. He was also a member of NJCAA r

Vaughn Shapen is currently the assistant coach at Archbishop McCarthy High School. He has previously coached at Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana. As a player, Vaughn was named to the Louisiana All State team in two different seasons while attending Loyola College Prep High School. He was also a member of NJCAA region 14 All Star Team while attending Bossier Parish Community College. Vaughn attended and played for Middle Tennessee State University and was given the opportunity to continue his playing career with the White Sox Organization, however, declined the offer due to injury.

Vorachek spent 11 seasons as the head coach at Bossier Parish Community College. He is the winningest coach in program history; 52 players select

Aaron Vorachek is currently the Head Coach at Archbishop McCarthy High School. Aaron Vorachek's college baseball coaching and MLB scouting resume includes 19 years of experience at those levels. Vorachek spent 11 seasons as the head coach at Bossier Parish Community College. He is the winningest coach in program history; 52 players selected as All-Conference, 8 players selected to All-Region, and 2 named All-American. Additionally, during his time at Bossier Parish, 21 of his players and NLI commitments had gone to the MLB amateur draft. Prior to BPCC, Coach Vorachek worked for the Miami Marlins and Montreal Expos as a scout. His coaching resume includes having coached at three Division 1 schools.

Nick is currently an Assistant Coach at Archbishop McCarthy. Nick is originally from New Jersey where he attended Cherry Hill High School West and was elected as an All Conference infielder in the second to largest conference in the region in both his junior and senior years. After a slate of injuries occurred at the end of his senior year, Nick attended Camden County Community College and followed it up by electing to play Professional Baseball overseas for two seasons beforemaking his way to South Florida.

Agter playing professional Baseball, he was a MLB Scout for the Chicago White Sox Organizationfor 9 seasons. H

Agter playing professional Baseball, he was a MLB Scout for the Chicago White Sox Organizationfor 9 seasons. His responsibilities for the White Sox included covering amateur draft playersin the Lower Midwest and Southeast/Carolinas as well as professional coverage in the Single A Midwest and Double A Texas Leagues. In addition he served as a Coach/GM of the Chicago White Sox Area Code Games and Midwest Fall Scout Teams that competed in Jupiter, Fl and Phoenix, AZ. On these teams he coached dozens of future MLB players and multiple Major League All Stars. After negotiating contracts on the MLB side as a scout, Alex transitioned to player representation and amateur draft advisement. He has advised, drafted, and signed players as high as the 1 st Round of the MLB Amateur Draft, and negotiated Draft Bonuses, Major League, Japanese Major League, and Foreign Winter League contracts in the multi-millions of dollars. He’s also secured significant marketing and endorsement opportunities for his pro clients. As an amateur, Alex was the Phoenix Gazette HS Player of the Year, All-Arizona, a JUCO World Series National Champion, and 2-way (OF/P) NCAA Div. 1 player. His jersey #17 is retired on the outfield wall of the Paradise Valley High School baseball field in Phoenix, AZ. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
